Aglow Slender Blend – Ayurvedic blend of essential oils for weight loss

The role of spices and fragrances has long been highlighted in Ayurveda. Most spices have aromatic oils which give them soul-warming fragrance and a distinct flavor. Smell or olfaction has profound effects on our physiology and metabolism when inhaled and taken internally.

How to use Slender Blend?
AglowSlimming essential oil blend can be used for massage or for intake, to help with obesity.

Key points of application on the body are:

  • Crown of head Forehead
  • Temples Behind ears
  • Neck Upper back
  • Abdomen Over vital organs
  • Soles and top of feet Ankles

Ratio for blending: (standard ratios)

  • 1-2 drops of essential oil to ½ tsp. of carrier oil
  • 2-3 drops of essential oil to 1 tsp. of carrier oil or15 drops of essential oil to 1 oz. of carrier oil
  • 45-55 drops in 4oz carrier oil for therapeutic effects- based on desired strength.

Ratio for intake
To take Aglowessential oil blend internally you can use size “00” veg capsules. Add 3-4 drops of good quality vegetable oil to the open veg capsule and then add 1-2 drops of the essential oil blend. You can take 1-2 time per day after food and swallow them with warm water.

Cumin Essential Oil
According to Ayurveda cumin promotes digestion, boosts metabolism and aids natural weight loss. The chief chemical components of cumin essential oil are cuminic, cymene, dipentene, limonene, phellandrene and pinene.

This a non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing oil. However, it may have phototoxic properties, hence should be avoided while going out in sun. Also, people with sensitive skin and pregnant women should avoid it.

It is a warming oil and helps to relive muscular pain, tone up the nervous system and helps relive tiredness.

Grapefruit Essential Oil
Grapefruit essential oil helps in lowering cellulite, helps controlling hunger pangs and overeating, promotes weight loss, tones up the skin, relieves stress and helps in relaxation. At a spiritual level it helps in improving ones perceptions of body image and boosts self-acceptance.

Cinnamon essential Oil
Cinnamon essential oil helps in synergizing the activity of all the essential oils for weight loss. It helps in maintaining healthy insulin levels, improve digestion and circulation, gently detox the body, stimulates the immune system, and even increases libido. Emotionally and spiritually, cinnamon is said to increase our self-love, improve our body image and acceptance, and allows us to feel free to be ourselves.

Sweet Fennel essential Oil
Fennel find great mention in Ayurveda. It helps in promoting digestion, balances hormones, reduces inflammation, helpful in menstrual problems and promotes weight loss. Helps in dealing with feelings of self-rejection, negativity and feeling of being un-loved and un-wanted. It helps in eating disorders like anorexia nervosa. Pregnant women and those with epilepsy should use with caution.

Bergamot essential Oil
The large polyphenol content of this oil helps in reducing fat production, boost metabolism and prevents absorption of cholesterol. It also helps in reducing stretch marks and is safe during pregnancy.

Bitter Orange essential oil
Mentioned as Jambiri nimbu in Ayurveda, bitter orange carries loads of benefits for boosting digestion and metabolism.

It helps in relieving inflammation- one of the root causes of obesity and has anti-depressant properties.

It should be used carefully by people with serious heart conditions.

Carrier Oil
The ideal carrier oil for this combination is grape seed oil.
