  • Mix about 25 gm. of turmeric paste and mix it with a glass of coconut water and then add 3 tea spoons of red sandalwood powder. Filter the mixture, apply on face and wash it off after drying. This is an excellent remedy for acne.
  • Soak rice in coconut water and let it ferment. Powder it finely and apply daily on face for 3 to 4 days for the treatment of eczema.
  • Coconut water mixed with 1 tea spoon of salt is used to wash hair to prevent the growth of gray hair.
  • Coconut water is also used as a lip balm by mixing coconut butter on its own or peppermint or spearmint oil.

Use of coconut water in aromatherapy

  1. Tea tree, lavender or patchouli oil is used in conjunction coconut water.
  2. For the treatment of eczema, chamomile, geranium oil or orange oil is used.
  3. It is also an effective remedy to treat burns. Geranium, patchouli or lavender oil is used with coconut water.
  4. Palmarosa or Neroli oil is used along with coconut water for the treatment stretch marks.
